Chelsea transfer news – Drogba to return to Chelsea

Another Saturday and another turn around of stories, and as reports suggest, Didier Drogba is now bound to join Chelsea’s coaching team as a player cum coach next season.

The striker is expected to be Chelsea’s striker coach for next season, as Jose Mourinho plots a successful campaign for Chelsea next term.

Didier Drogba who most recently impressed for Galatasaray in Turkish league looks to return back to Chelsea, a club where he excelled for the majority of career, also helping them win the Champions League.

Now, Didier wants to return to Chelsea as a coach, as his long and victorious career heads towards an end.

Ivory Coast suffered a poor World Cup campaign this Brazil, with a last defeat against Greece ending their hopes of progressing to next round, and with Didier back to his nation, he is looking forward to shuffle his options which includes his career as a player for one more year with Juventus or Milan, or a return to Chelsea as a coach cum striker.

But, Didier Drogba who has a close affection with Chelsea fans, and having already been termed as a legend wants to help Jose Mourinho with a new revolution at Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho had already welcomed the idea of return for the Chelsea legend a few months back.

But, whatever it is for Chelsea in future, a club welcoming Didier will be lucky enough.

    I have met Didier Drogba on several occasions and he is an extraordinary human being. Any club will be enhanced by his presence, but as Chelsea fan, I would love him to come home.

    Chelsea legend may come back. He was the player who taught me what are the emotions in football.I would love to see him in the bench always.
